Twisted DNA

A person in Japan, who ran a suicide website, was arrested after he took money from a woman to kill her and killed her.  For anybody who wants to run such websites, here is my advice.  Get a frikking dictionary and read what “suicide” means!

This news item reports that: “Two female students are demanding their rights after they were banned from bathing topless at a swimming pool in Uppsala.”  The two girls are apparently fighting for their right to bare breasts.  What the news article doesn’t say is where I can sign up to show my support.

Time.com reports in the article “Baby Einsteins: Not So Smart After All” that babies who watch Baby Einstein may have lower language skills than babies who didn’t watch them.  “Baby Einstein” is appropriately named, isn’t it?  Considering Einstein didn’t speak until he was 3.

The Register-Guard reports, “In looking at Iraq exit, commanders point to Kuwait.”  Mr. President and Mr. Vice-President, please understand that they are not talking about invading Kuwait!

Forbes.com published an online article: “Hackers Descend on Las Vegas“.  Let’s wait for their announcement stating they don’t know how the article got on their website.

Times Online reports that coffee plus exercise may help prevent skin cancer.  I don’t exercise.  May be I will just double my coffee intake to get full benefit.

Snippet from Yahoo News: “A 73-year-old Indian farmer who
vowed not to marry before passing his high school exams has
failed to get through for the 38th time.” Very clever plan to escape marriage, I would say!

A new invention called “Blur reflective spray” is a spray composed of nano-particles that reflect light which makes you unphotographable when you spray it on by making you appear like a white ghost. Added advantage is that if you keep using it long enough your look becomes permanent and you won’t even need the spray.

Apparently singer Brandy and her ex-car driver sued each other saying that the other drove recklessly to cause a car crash. Well, now we know why there was a crash. Two people shouldn’t be driving a car at the same time!

This is what I DON’T want for Father’s day.  I know diamonds are man’s best friend and all that, but still…
